GOLF
When Golf is played with a Hand Sack aka Sac... it becomes an amazing game of target shooting. Two or more players challenge each other to see who has the most accurate throw. A target is chosen, usually a bowl or a cup, and then players take turns from a predetermined line to see who can hit the target in the fewest number of throws. The game is scored like Golf, the lower the score, the better. Whoever is leading the scoreboard at the end of the game is the winner.
This game is played in a series of 3 rounds, usually 9, but any multiple of 3 up to 18 max. The number of chances you have is determined by what the Par of the course is.
Determining Par:  Under 8 feet – Par 3 (3 chances)… 8 to 12 feet --- Par 4 (4 chances)… 12 to 15 feet --- Par 5 (5 chances)
Variations:
SkeeBall Style – In normal golf, the player only shoots until they hit the target. If they hit the first shot, their round is done. In SkeeBall style, a player takes all of their shots and scores one point for every one he or she sinks. In this game, you try to get the highest score, and sink as many sacks as possible.

Horseshoe Style – In this method, you do not have to change the course after each round.  Each player will gets 3 shots per round. They score three points if the sack lands in the target, two points if the sack is touching the target but not in, and one point if the sack is within one sack away from the target. You play until one of the players reaches 21 points.

C.H.I or S.A.C

Who knows what playing H.O.R.S.E. in basketball is? One person does a trick aka shot and then each other person has to match the trick or get a letter. Of course, we use the letters C.H.I. … Get the whole word, and you are out, waiting for the next game. The last person standing is the winner.
The game is played in a circle. Each player takes turns setting a trick*.
*1 Trick no a series of many, a trick may combine many dexterities, but usually goes from a ^^Toss or Hit…to a Catch or Hit and Catch^^.
The player who is setting the trick is called the Server… The Server “Calls” their trick, telling the other players, what trick will be tried in 1 attempt (That`s right just 1). The Server must then perform the trick. Before performing a trick, the Server must “Call” the trick. They must explain what trick they are going to do, and if they fail to perform the trick, they lose their turn. Then the player to the left becomes the next server.

If they are successful with the trick, then all other players must defend by performing the same trick. Any player who fails to land the trick that the Server performed will be penalized with a letter. After all players tried, the player to the left becomes the next server. Once a particular trick is Called and Served, you can not call that trick again in that same game, but any variation on it is O.K.

BIG AIR aka Altitude
Way up in the AIR and then catch it... or drop it! The Tosser is also the Official running the game or contest, and cannot be admited to be a player. But thanks a lot for helping out the others…
Players must be in 1 line waiting outside of the surface of play at all time, and especially during a player`s turn. That surface of play is an imaginary circle of 10 feet wide.
The height of the toss is important, to be the same for all players as much as possible. A player may call a Redo, but not after attempting a catch. Attempting a catch even if outside the limits, makes it count as an attempt. But interference can always be called if it was an incoming individual somehow making it harder.
Each player has 3 attempts in the first round, 2 in the second round and only 1 attempt in the final rounds. When all players took their turns, a round is over. All players making a clean catch, must go wait and create the next line of players for the next round coming.
The final rounds as well, must keep the order of play, but the round only starts when a player makes the first catch, that`s starts a round for the other players to do or be out of the game. The final round with only 2 players left is often called ``Sudden-Death``, and in optional rules, loses the order of the players, in a more back to back faster pace!

Freestyle
Who is the hand sack trick jammer? Tricks have always been a big part of the game, making it another sport event in itself, one that must be judged. When performed for a tournament either physically in person or over the internet by video, players will be mainly judged in 2 main categories...The Difficulty and The Presentation. A “Routine” lasts between 1 and 2 minutes depending on the Tournament`s formula. Even public voting can be official.
Difficulty is very technical, it’s where you get points for tricks and lose points for drops or mishaps! Each trick has point value; they can add up to make a difference by being a big total or averaging high values only. Signature and new tricks also get scored in here. Variety and avoiding repeats for tricks is a crucial skill to have to fill the score sheets well. Difficulty is often more a number science, but one of the 2 judging sides, needs to be like that.
Presentation is quite personal, it`s a collection of many specific things to look at and score…Height and # of High Tosses, Coverage of surface, Smile and Confidence, Rhythm to music and/or flow of movements, Outfit, Choice of music, and about anything else that could cross a Judge’s mind to either add or subtract a point for pure personal taste. Presentation is also a great place to reward a very personal liking of something in the routine. The judging is a number between 1 and 5 or 1 and 10, but at the judge`s full discretion of what he saw in that routine!

STREET SURFIN`

When Parkour & Hand Sack meets! It`s the obstacle course and tracking field of the hand sack sport, there is no points or lives usually, but many do! You just have to do the task done by the ``leader of the pack``, it must be done by the others. A word like in C.H.I aka H.O.R.S.E can be used, with letters as lives. Or a point total to reach can be use to add up as well.  Bouncing a ``Hand Sack`` off a Stop sign, off a wall, thru a fence, over a bar, around a post, sliding off a table… The list goes on and on, of all the cool things you can do, just be careful not to get your ``Hand Sack`` stuck on an awning or a gutter! I hate those a lot!

LONG DISTANCE
What is the longest toss and catch? It's done between a tossing line and the point where the catch is made. If the catcher was in fast movement, a marker can be used for where the foot of the catcher was at first touch with the ``Hand Sack``.
It can also be done alone, but it`s rare. The World Record is near 110 feet! Individual it`s around 60 feet. In a contest, a mark often is on the field to show the best score to beat, this makes it a lot easier for measurements. The number of attempts must also be decided, 3 is common and easier! Every time a new mark is made, each team can have their attempts, so it sometime helps to encourage opponents. As any other discipline where a catch decides the succes or failure of an attempt, a perfect clean catch must be made, that often is simply decided by the fact that the ``hand sack`` made only 1 contact as a clean catch in 1 motion. A Redo can be of course allowed to avoid questionning, but a hit, is clearly not a catch, but allows if caught for a Redo. A Redo can be done only once in a team`s turn to beat a marker, a new marker always offers a redo for each team.

SURVIVOR
Who will be the last one standing? This contest is run in a Dojo manner, like in Martial Art classes. The person in front of the players is not a player but the Master. He chooses a trick, does it himself if needed, then all players 1 at a time or by groups must do it too! All players of course are standing up for this, and a miss, means to sit down until 1 person is the winner by being the last one standing. Each trick becoming a wave of elimination, like a Tsunami. On occasions, the last man surviving and standing may challenge the Master! A fun optional tradition! The Master may decline without questions asked! A tournament is often tight on time and strict for official`s image! But that`s up to the Master… If invited the player comes next to the master and they then both turn to face each other in front of all other players sitting.

SPEED OR CONSECUTIVE TRICKS
Who's got the fastest hands? How many times can you do the same trick or series of tricks in 60 seconds. There is also a timeless version, but it`s far less popular, but does make it interesting for a world record! And everybody using 30 seconds or 60 seconds, can help to have standards for records and quality of scores per category of players. The most common categories for this discipline is using the ``360``, the ``Under the Leg`` and the ``Cold-Fusion``… But other unique and fun ideas like continuous trampolines or kicks can be tried!
