AHSSA…2007... And a bit of History of the Hand Sack & Tournaments.
Big Air, Long Distance and Golf contests might have been the best concepts for demos and events ever... But tricks are such a big part of the game, that “Freestyle Open” is the way to go for show... especially on camera!
We had a first ever Freestyle Open event judged and sponsored in “Myachi Madness 2002” in Vero Beach FL. Then the event came back in 2007 at a cool store called “Funky Monkey” in Long-Island, then we had “Best Trick”. These 2 along with many small quickly made contests in events and demos is where it’s at so far, for physical in person events. Then came You-Tube in early days on 2007…
The 4 seasons were a success in 2007, by tradition to the ancient ways of the “Art of the Hand Sack” aka “Sac-Fu” aka “Myachi-Fu”. Each Element of Nature and the Art itself, will be represented by a Season. Just like in the ancient times of WAHSSA, a hero rises every season and honors us all with his mad skillz!

FORMAT FOR ENTRIES: Let’s make this simple, if you are OK, 1 minute should do it fine, a really skilled contestant should and please only he or she, do a 2 minute routine. Music makes a HUGE difference, but is optional!?
The prizes will be another Sack-Draft, so this will be the “Sack-Draft 5”, the rumor has it that hand sacks all the way from 1992 will be awarded for top 3!!!

Last SPRING 2007, “JOE THE GREAT” was the new blooming life of the return of the ancient tradition, by being the first on EARTH to be an “official” world champion of the hand sack. And of course he did it with his favorite myachi hand sack! Joe was also part of that “Myachi Madness 2002” in Vero Beach FL. He never misses the good moment!

Last SUMMER 2007 “MMIT aka “Myachi Master In Training” took that title with a great video, surely was the “Best Myachi Movie Ever”! His peak isn’t even close yet! Keep an eye on that one, he’s a sponge for skillz! And his partner in crime Myachi89 is as good, but a bit more underground! WAHSSA!…
Last FALL 2007, “JOE THE GREAT” did it again for a second time but not consecutive! He’s working on that right now for the next, 4th and last tournament of 2007! Definetely the Year of the “Hand Sack”… WAHSSA!…
Last WINTER 2007, “JOE THE GREAT” did win the 4th and last tournament of 2007! Definetely the a Legacy for Year of the “Hand Sack” 3 out of 4… WAHSSA!…
